Following the requirements of the "Administrative Measures of Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)", Shanghai Maritime University hereby notify all CSC students who wish to postpone their scholarship during the academic year 2020/2021 to follow the instructions below;
- APPLICATION EXTENSION FOR NON-DOCTORAL STUDENTS
Non-doctoral students applying for CSC scholarships extension are required to apply through their scholarship application institutions. If the Scholarship Accepting Organization approved the application, the students will be included in the 2020/2021 scholarship plan. Shanghai Maritime University will then accept the extension application for all eligible students and assist them by issuing a certificate of consent for the extension period.
- APPLICATION EXTENSION FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS
Doctoral students with an excellent academic background, but due to specific reasons, cannot complete their studies within the stipulated academic period for scholarship coverage can apply directly to Shanghai Maritime University for an extension. Students must make sure that they pass this year's annual scholarship review, mid-term exams, dissertation proposal and other academic requirements directed by their respective college and supervisors before submitting their application.
